This book may be targeting an extremely specific niche but it is still a fun read.


What is a coleopteran you ask? I’m so glad you asked, because I didn’t know either! According to a free online dictionary, it means :

“An order of insects having the anterior pair of wings (elytra) hard and horny, and serving as coverings for the posterior pair, which are membranous, and folded transversely under the others when not in use. The mouth parts form two pairs of jaws (mandibles and maxillæ) adapted for chewing. Most of the Coleoptera are known as beetles and weevils.”(Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary, published 1913 by C. & G. Merriam Co.)

Hrmmmm….sure hope we are being led into some kind of plot/mini plot!
